at the moment i have the industries version, if i install this version with the campus dlc i will lose my saved game?
Anyone else having a bug without the milestones? My milestones population meter is always stuck at around 12000 and I am not able to unlock any milestones.
Anyone else having problem with game crashing? When I try to start new game (or load existing old save) it just gets stuck on loading screen and crashes :S
My specs are
Ryzen 5 1400 3200MHz,
Radeon RX 560 (2Gb),
8Gb ram,
Windows 10 pro build 17763
I tried reinstalling the game, but the problem is still there.
Also tried lowering all graphic settings.
Also, for comparison purpose, I play Witcher 3, Sims 4 and WoW Battle for Azeroth without problems, Cities Skylines Industries worked aswell, but this just keeps crashing 🙁
Same problem as Stella, it just keeps on crashing. Shadows on high etc it crashes, then also putting the european style somehow it crashes.
When I put everything on medium it works, for a time, than it crashes. If I loud the save sometimes it crashes randomly.
It’s like walking on eggs.

The problem with both of you is RAM. Cities Skylines is very RAM heavy, way more than it looks like. With all expansions, 8Gb is not enough to run it and you get out of memory. If you don’t believe me, check your task manager or try the loading screen mod. The game now takes way more than 8Gb without mods on a new city, because it loads all assets on startup.

Installed without errors, however when I want to run it, it wants me to to Steam.
Why is that? Do I have to or did I miss something?

I fixed it so I’ll share in case anyone else has this issue later on.
After applying the update “Cities Skylines Campus Update v1.12.1-f2-CODEX ” I needed to copy/replace the steam_api files and the steam_emu file in the Codex folder of the update to the install directory of the game. Works great now.
